    I like this website – http://www.moveyourmoney.info – It is a wonderful campaign to encourage folks to move their money out of the big banks, and into the small, locally controlled ones. Plus, they’ve pulled together the resources to help folks do it. They’ve got a beautiful to watch, too.

    I found “Better Off” by Eric Brende and “The Good Life” by Helen and Scott Nearing helpful illustrations of what life looks like when you radically decrease your consumption and participate in subsistence activities rather than wage labor.
